Basics and Train the Trainer
Report on Results of Analyses of the Economy, Demography, Education and Labour Markets
This result presents a comprehensive analysis of the economy, demography, education systems, and labour markets in the countries of the Baltic Sea Region. It provides a data-based overview of regional developments, challenges, and trends, using mainly Eurostat and comparable international statistics.
The report analyses population development, migration, employment, unemployment, economic structures, and education markets, with a strong focus on vocational education and training as well as higher education. It creates a common evidence base for the development of all BA&VET education measures and supports informed decision-making for future implementation and transfer.
Report on the Results of Analyses of Skills Needs in the Green Economy
This result analyses the qualification needs and competence requirements of SMEs in the Green Economy across the Baltic Sea Region. It focuses on environmental sectors such as energy, resource efficiency, waste, water, and sustainable management, identifying current and future skills gaps.
The report shows that the transition to a Green Economy mainly requires new competences within existing occupations, rather than entirely new professions. Based on quantitative studies, expert input, and literature analysis, it provides education recommendations and competence profiles that directly informed the design of the BA&VET training programs and study courses.
Report on National and Legal Conditions and Alternative Solution Models
This result examines the national and legal frameworks for vocational education, continuing training, and dual Bachelor’s degree programs in the partner countries Estonia, Finland, Germany, and Poland. It analyses how far integrated training models can be implemented under existing regulations.
Based on these analyses, the report develops alternative solution models for each country, showing realistic pathways for implementing the BA&VET approach despite differing legal and institutional conditions. This result significantly supports the transferability and adaptability of the project results to other countries and education systems.
Concept, Curriculum and Teaching Materials for a Train the Trainer Program
This result provides the complete concept, curriculum, schedule, and teaching materials for the Train the Trainer program developed within the BA&VET project. The program qualifies teachers, counsellors, and university lecturers to implement dual study programs, further vocational training, and innovation activities with SMEs.
The training follows work-based learning principles and combines theoretical input with practical methods and facilitation techniques. It serves as a capacity-building tool for multipliers, ensuring that BA&VET education measures can be delivered with high and comparable quality across institutions and countries.
Qualification of Teachers, Counsellors and University Lecturers
This result documents the implementation, testing, and evaluation of the Train the Trainer program with participants from all project partners. It includes the evaluation concept, implementation report, and evaluation results from both trainers’ and participants’ perspectives.
The results confirm a high level of satisfaction, strong relevance to professional practice, and effective preparation of participants for delivering BA&VET training measures. This result demonstrates that the project successfully built a qualified pool of trainers and lecturers to ensure sustainability and long-term impact of the BA&VET approach.
